Web Writing, Design, Development, Management and SEO
Websites are often the focal point of a marketing campaign, so keep in mind that this section of my portfolio doesn't just show my abilities in Web writing, design, SEO and more, it shows one tactic of a much larger marketing plan.
In early 2010, I the company I work for, Andy J. Egan Co., was part of two start-ups--Egan Food Technologies and Wolverine Energy Alliance. For both, I developed logos and designed, developed, wrote copy for and launched the websites in collaboration with each company's key team members.
One example I'll highlight is the Ecoological marketing campaign, which required launching a new website. I developed a site map, worked on the design and wrote the copy for the site. Then, I managed the Web developer's progress. For this campaign, I also developed brochures, business cards, order forms and other print collateral that followed the brand's image.
I also developed an e-commerce site for Eclipse Hunting Apparel, which resulted in the company's first direct-to-consumer sales.
