I'm a person who loves learning, has to be busy at all times and strives to exceed expectations. In April 2008, I graduated from Grand Valley State University with a Bachelor of Science in advertising/public relations and professional writing. After graduating, my internship at Shape Corp. turned into a full-time position as the communications specialist. Currently, I lead all marketing communications efforts for Andy J. Egan Co., one of West Michigan's oldest and largest mechanical contractors.
When I'm not writing, designing or editing for an employer, I enjoy reading, editing (yes, I edit everything and love the satisfaction of finding an error in a book), and spending time with my husband and our puppy, Lexie. That's her up there in the banner. My husband, who owns Smith Development, Inc., and I also love the home building process. And when it's "Parade season" (when area homes are shown in the Parade of Homes), we will always be found touring the homes!
